Caving in Java

On our last day in Java, we were all a bit tired of wandering around crowded streets looking for Batik studios, so, our driver took us to his home town which had a small cave system. What his home town cave system lacked was any kind of tourist infrastructure, but we decided to explore it anyways.

What we didn't realize was that the cave had water flowing through its entirety. At points it came up to our chests!

Cave Weta (I played weta in scrabble, and it's not in my version of the scrabble players dictionary. BS if you ask me).

  1. What amaxing images you have captured- they look surreal! Nature certainly can shape wonderful shapes, forms and textures. They are exciting as the intricate designs of batik.
